Phenterpatch is advertised as a "prescription strength diet patch", essentially speaking a Phentermine alternative in patch form. Except unlike Phentermine, Phenterpatch not only suppresses appetite, it also burns fat. The major problem with this claim, patches have not yet been able to deliver ingredients to the bloodstream, even in the right amounts.

Effectiveness: Phenterpatch has the patch technology working against them. But they also have only one proven weight loss ingredient. The others are not even weight loss ingredients at all. We would expect to see something like hoodia in this product, unproven and useless, but recently popularized in the weight loss industry. They don't even use that. Instead, they use ingredients like ethanol and carbomer, which are nothing but preservatives. So there is no way you could lose weight with this product.

Safety: The only safety concern we would have with this product is the development of sensitive spots or rashes. It really has no valid ingredients of any kind, just preservatives and capsaicin, none of which cause internal side effects anyway. The fact that those ingredients cannot properly absorb through the skin just seals the deal.
