They have officially made a new diet fad out of everything, or at least they tried to make a new diet fad out of everything. Something has to fail on occasion. Chia seeds were never used in anybody's traditional medicine, it has never been used for weight loss, it is not a nutrient dense food or a superfood, it has no healing properties or so on. So though they made a valid stab at it, there is nothing that would even suggest to the gullible consumer that this product would do them any good. This is why most people are not choosing to buy this product and why their company stays extremely small. The product reminds people of their local chia pets, well at least the original chia pets that didn't have different available herbs in the pottery piece.
